Everything you need to know about booking a casino event with Canadian Event Dealers, answered clearly and honestly.

General Questions
Absolutely not. All of our casino experiences are strictly for entertainment purposes. Guests play with complimentary play chips or printed play money — no real currency is ever exchanged at any of our events. Our services are fully compliant with Canadian entertainment and charitable gaming regulations. We are a prop hire and event decoration company, not a gambling operation.
We are based in Winnipeg, MB and service the full Winnipeg metro area as our primary service zone. We also deliver to Brandon, MB, Regina and Saskatoon in Saskatchewan, and Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta. Travel surcharges apply for events outside the Winnipeg metro area — contact us for a tailored quote. For very large events, we can arrange logistics to most major centres across Western Canada.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for standard events. For large galas (150+ guests), corporate events with custom branding, or events during peak season (November–January), we suggest booking 8–12 weeks out. That said, we understand corporate timelines can be unpredictable — contact us even for short-notice bookings and we will do our best to accommodate you.
All standard packages include delivery to your venue (within Winnipeg metro), full setup by our crew, all necessary table accessories (chips, cards, dice, etc.), the rental period specified in your package, and complete teardown and removal at the end of your event. Optional extras such as custom branding, themed decor, LED lighting, and on-site hosts are available as add-ons.
As a general guide: a blackjack or poker table requires approximately 10ft x 8ft of clear floor space (including player standing room). A roulette table requires roughly 12ft x 6ft. A full craps table needs approximately 16ft x 8ft. We strongly recommend sending us your venue floor plan so we can provide a tailored layout recommendation. Our team will not set up a table in a space we feel is unsafe or inadequate for the guest experience.
Yes. On-site event staff (table hosts/dealers) are available as an add-on for all packages. Our hosts are experienced in guiding guests through the games, maintaining a fun atmosphere, and managing the flow of play. For the Grand Evening and Black Tie Gala packages, a dedicated on-site event coordinator is included as standard. Hosts are presented professionally and can be dressed to suit your event's dress code.
Yes, custom branding is available across all packages. Options include custom printed play chips with your logo, bespoke felt layouts with embroidered or printed branding, custom play money printed with your event details, and branded signage and table toppers. Custom items require a minimum of 3–4 weeks lead time and are priced based on quantity and complexity. Speak with our team for a specific quote.
Our Essentials package is designed for events with as few as 15 guests, though it is most effective with 30–50 attendees. There is no strict minimum — if you want a single table for an intimate dinner of 12, we can discuss what works. Conversely, there is no upper limit on guest count; our Black Tie Gala package is fully scalable for events with 500 or more guests.
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event date receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations between 14 and 29 days prior forfeit 50% of the deposit. Cancellations within 13 days are non-refundable. Rescheduling is available at no charge if made 14 or more days before the event date and subject to availability. Please review the cancellation clause in our service agreement for full details.
Yes, Canadian Event Dealers carries comprehensive general liability and equipment insurance. Minor wear associated with normal event use is covered under our standard terms. Intentional damage or gross negligence may be subject to a repair or replacement charge as outlined in our service agreement. We also carry third-party liability insurance, which may be required by some venues — ask us for a certificate of insurance if your venue requests one.
